What Is Shadow Work? And Why is Shadow Work Important?
Shadow work is when we look at the parts of ourselves that make us sad, disappointed, angry, shameful, or regretful and then we begin working on them. The goal is to work on your shadows more objectively than emotionally.

Many times, we go quickly into shame, blame, or even repressing the things that do not make us happy. The better goal is to bring this shadow into the light. Try to be objective and look at the problem, and get to the heart of why it bothers you.

For instance, that time you said the embarrassing words. You can’t take them back, but it haunts you. What can you do about it? Instead of trying to forget it or the memory making you feel low, you can look at it and ask yourself a few questions such as:
